The Gospel and Charity
FRN pivots on charitable giving and the ministration of God’s word. While eighty five percent (85%) of our content is gospel, fifteen percent (15%) focus on cultural and developmental matters. However, there may be times this may change to reflect crisis and the need for public education or awareness.
Want to know Jesus
The greatest attribute of God is that He is a God of love. He loved us so much that He sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, so that we might have new everlasting life (John 3:16). By His death and resurrection, Jesus paid for our salvation. He was raised from the dead by the Father and given life and authority over the powers of darkness and principalities. God now imparts that life and authority to all who come to Him in truth and spirit. God’s Word says that whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.
You can pray the following prayer right now to ask God to come into your heart so you can receive the new birth; a New Life!
Prayer of Salvation
Dear Heavenly Father, Your Word in John 3:3 says I must be born again to see the kingdom of God. Father, I acknowledged my sins and seek Your forgiveness. I believe Christ died for me; shed His blood, died on the cross and rose again from the dead for my salvation and redemption. Lord Jesus, I repent and turn from my sins.
- Lord Jesus, I acknowledge you as my Lord and Saviour, and no longer want to be in control of my life. Take control of my life and make me Yours forever in Jesus Name (Amen).
- Please Lord Jesus, give me the strength by Your precious Holy Spirit to live for You and empower me to live a sin-free life as from today in Jesus Name (Amen).
FRN Faith Statement
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. (2Tim. 3:15-17; I Pt. 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12
There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three Manifestations (Trinity): Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All are co-equal and co-eternal (Mt. 28:19, I Jn. 1:1, 14, 2 Cor. 13:14,Col. 1:15-17, Heb. 1:3 John 15:26-27).
Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate. (Mt. 1:20, Isa.9: 6, Lk. 1:35, Jn. 17:5 & 8, Phil. 2:6-8, I Pt. 2:24, 3:18, Rm. 3:24-25, I Jn. 2:2, Col. 1:20, 2 Cor. 5:18, Jn. 19:38-42, Rm. 10:9, Acts 1:9, Jn. 21:19, Rm. 8:34)
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. The evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The full consummation of the Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 10:44-46, 19:2,6).
Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. (Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21). We believe in the holy matrimony between a man and a woman, as ordained by God (Gen. 2:24)
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works.
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and healing for all mankind (Ps. 103:3). This salvation comes by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with your mouth, Jesus as Lord (Rom. 3:24, 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8).
The inward evidence, to the believer, is the direct witness of the Spirit (Rom. 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of true holiness and love (I Jn. 3:23; Jn. 13:35).
The inward evidence, to the believer, is the direct witness of the Spirit (Rom. 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of true holiness and love (I Jn. 3:23; Jn. 13:35).
There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment. Blessed Hope; Jesus is coming to gather all His saints to Heaven (I Cor. 15:51-52; I Thess. 4:16-17; 2Thess. 2:1).
The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head. The Church is the Body of Christ. Each believer is an integral part (Eph. 1:22, 2:19-22; Heb. 12:23).
Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. (Mt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Rom. 6:4). All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of Jesus Christ. With this comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowal of gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry: This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Lk. 24:49; Acts 1:4-8, 2:38-39, 10:44-46, 11:14-16, 15:7-9; I Cor. 12:1-31).
The celebration of the Lord’s Supper by eating of the bread and drinking of the cup is a remembrance of Jesus (I Cor. 11:24-30). Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.
Spiritual (Jn. 3:3, 11; II Cor. 5:17-21;Rom. 10:9-10), Mental (II Tim. 1:7; Rom. 12:2; Is. 26:3), Physical (Is. 53:4-5; Mt. 8:17), Financial (III Jn. 2; Lk. 6:38; II Cor. 9:6-10; Phil. 4:19), Social (Pr. 3:4).
All Christians should obey officials of the government and the laws of their country as those appointed by God for the protection of all the punishment of evildoers. The only exception to this would be when these officials or laws conflict with the Word of God. We are admonished to pray for our leaders. (Ezra 7:26, Mt.22: 21, Rm. 13:1, I Pt. 2:17, I Tim. 2:1-2)
